International sludge/post-metal supergroup Absent in Body features members of Neurosis, Sepultura, and Amenra. Their terrifying, crushing sound combines plodding, doom-laden tempos, thick walls of muddy guitar tone, hoarsely roared vocals, industrial soundscapes, spacey interludes, and a reverberant production job that makes the whole thing sound as though it were recorded in a vast cavern deep beneath the earth.
