Adam Mitchell (founder of the Sonic Groove label and brother of Brooklyn techno pioneer Frankie Bones) uses the name ADMX-71 for his experimental industrial material, as opposed to the harder-edged techno produced under his more well-known monikers, Adam X and Traversable Wormhole. He debuted the alias in 2009 with the full-length Luminous Vapors, released by German label Hands Productions. Second System followed on Sonic Groove in 2012. Mitchell then took the project to Ron Morelli's L.I.E.S. label for the 2014 EP The Redacted Files and 2015 full-length Coherent Abstractions....
