Alberto Lysy was an Argentinian violinist known for his rich, projecting tone and expressive musicality. He was also respected for his work as an educator and founder of the International Menuhin Music Academy.
Lysy was born in 1935 in Buenos Aires and began playing the violin when he was five years old, initially learning from his father.
