With a sound rooted in the scruffy jangle of '90s indie rock and a firmly confessional lyrical stance, the Columbus, Ohio quartet formed in 2012. Vocalist/guitarist Maryn Jones and bassist Amanda Bartley had previously played in a short-lived group named Wolfs, and when they split the duo decided to keep making music together.
