Biography

Identified early as a gifted musician, Andrew Litton trained in the United States and then established himself as an outstanding conductor in England before returning to the U.S. to assume the directorship of a major orchestra, the Dallas Symphony. As one of only a small handful of American-born, American-trained artists to hold an important podium position in the U.S., Litton endured a greater-than-customary degree of scrutiny.
