The arty, subtly theatrical music of Anna B Savage frames the songwriter's staunchly aware, often introspective lyrics in off-balance chamber rock settings that complement her unusual, mannered vocal delivery. After her 2015 debut EP led to tours with fans like Father John Misty and Jenny Hval, she made her full-length debut in 2021 with the William Doyle-produced A Common Turn. Her second album, 2023's in|FLUX, explored the complexities of humanity (love and loss, pain and pleasure, uncertainty) with an intimate, shape-shifting instrumental palette.
