According to the legend of their press release, Argyle Park's frontman Buka was raised around the world by missionary parents; when he was 12 years old and on a trip to Africa, he became lost and spent a night with a tribe of natives. That experience began a lifelong love of worldbeat percussion and rhythms (his name comes from what the tribe called him).
