Dutch electronic pop duo Arling & Cameron created playful, cosmopolitan music that embraced a vast variety of genres, all in the name of fun and dancing. Early on, they aligned themselves with the Japanese Shibuya-kei scene, producing a similar style of colorful, kitschy music drawing from retro influences such as French pop, lounge, and spy movie themes.
