Buffalo, New York-based rapper Armani Caesar went from uptempo, pop-inflected tracks to slowing down and deepening her sound. Born in 1989, she started rapping at 12. Although prolific in her early career with releases including 2009's Bath & Body Work and 2011's Handbag Addict, it wasn't until she joined the Griselda Records roster that she garnered wider attention.
