Taking influence from the punkier side of classic D.I.Y. indie pop and artists spanning Dolly Mixture, Talulah Gosh, and Vivian Girls, Artsick is led by onetime Burnt Palms singer/guitarist Christina Riley. The trio made their full-length debut with the wounded and infectious Fingers Crossed in 2022. Based in Oakland, California, Artsick was born when Christina Riley was writing songs on her own but missed the collaborative aspects of her former band.
