With their '70s power pop and folk-rock-influenced sound, Scotland's Attic Lights came to wider recognition in the mid-2000s making hooky, guitar-based anthems. Following the release of their debut eponymous album on Island Records, they moved to Spain's Elefant Records for 2008's Friday Night Lights. Formed in Glasgow in 2005, Attic Lights initially featured singer/guitarist Kev Sherry and singer/bassist Colin McArdle.
