Banjo or Freakout

Experimental bedroom pop artist Alessio Natalizia began performing and recording under the name Banjo or Freakout in 2009. One half of the electronic duo Walls, Natalizia, a Londoner who is originally from Vasto, Italy, released an EP and a handful of singles under the moniker before unleashing a proper studio album. Produced by Nicolas Vernhes in New York's Rare Book Room Studios, Banjo or Freakout's eponymous debut arrived in 2011. ~ James Christopher Monger
