Barry Douglas

Catapulted to international stardom by his 1986 victory at the Tchaikovsky Piano Competition in Moscow, Barry Douglas has rivaled the career of a previous non-Russian to win that coveted gold medal, Van Cliburn. Douglas has given recitals throughout the world and performed concertos with many of the world's leading orchestras.
