Biography
BCMC is a psychedelic drone duo consisting of Chicago-based musicians Cooper Crain and Bill MacKay. Their 2023 debut, Foreign Smokes, contains four mysterious, slightly playful pieces falling somewhere between raga, new age, and ambient space rock.
Cooper Crain (Bitchin Bajas, Cave) and Bill MacKay (collaborator with Ryley Walker and Nathan Bowles, among others) have worked together on several albums, including MacKay's Fountain Fire and Walker's Deafman Glance.
