The neo-psych indie rock group Beaches were formed in Melbourne, Australia and released their first LP in 2008 for Mistletone Records. Antonia Sellbach (guitar/vocals), Alison Bolger (guitar/vocals), Ali McCann (guitar/vocals), Gill Tucker (bass/vocals), and Karla Way (drums/vocals) draw inspiration from '60s psych pop, '90s shoegaze, Flying Nun dream pop, and German drone rock.
