Beastie Respond

As Beastie Respond, Copehangen native Tobias Pedersen produces a hard-to-define mixture of drum'n'bass, electro-funk, footwork, trap, and several other styles. Reflecting the bombardment of information available in the present era as well as a sense of nostalgia for past visions of the future, Pedersen's music can be as tense as a John Carpenter soundtrack or as giddy and neon as a Rustie record. Pedersen played drums as a youth and joined a reggae/ska band, but gradually felt the urge to combine disparate genres, and started making solo electronic music as Beastie Respond. Af...
