Behind the Shadow Drops

Behind the Shadow Drops is a solo undertaking of Takaakira "Taka" Goto, founding member and guitarist of the Japanese instrumental rock group Mono. Venturing from that band's epic post-rock, Goto's solo project embraces dark trip-hop, minimalism, and modern classical, among other styles. After releasing an album under his own name in 2015, Goto initiated Behind the Shadow Drops in 2016. The project's debut full-length, H a r m o n i c, was issued by Temporary Residence in 2017. ~ Paul Simpson
