Biography
Chicago's own Big Breakfast has been perfecting their gritty country-rock since the new millennium dawn. The band, which consists of singer/songwriter Peter Joly, bass player Jon Williams, and drummer Mike Reed, introduces an honesty similar to the likes of Neil Young and Buffalo Springfield and a raw appeal like Drag the River. Big Breakfast's debut album, This Kind, was recorded at the famed Argyle Sound studio in late 2001 and issued several months later. ~ MacKenzie Wilson
