Formed in 1990, Big Fat Snake have grown to become one of Denmark's longest-running rock bands, not bad for a group that pulled its name from a Bob Dylan lyric. But the Big Fat Snake story actually goes back to 1988, when guitarist Peter Viskinde and guitarist/vocalist Anders Blichfeldt met while recording a demo for a failed band named the Werners.
