A strikingly gifted jazz pianist, Bill Charlap is a swinging and lyrical post-bop improvisor and accompanist, as well as a celebrated interpreter of standards. He debuted in the '90s with Gerry Mulligan and has performed with other jazz icons like Benny Carter, Phil Woods, and Clark Terry.
