The funky-folk duo Bitch & Animal came together in the late '90s. Bitch hails from Detroit and Animal was born and raised in Queens, NY and the two met after play rehearsal at a theater school in Chicago. For the next few years, Bitch & Animal honed their signature sexually-charged musical style; What's That Smell marked their debut in 1999.
