Combining '60s British Invasion pop with scuzzy garage blues-rock, Belgian duo the Black Box Revelation, aka vocalist/guitarist Jan Paternoster and drummer Dries Van Dijck, began jamming while at school, and after finishing runner-up at the 2006 Humo's Rock Rally contest, gained support slots on European tours with Iggy Pop, dEUS, and the Raveonettes.
