Originally starting out as a three-piece, guitarist Joe Gosney, drummer Liam Kearley, and bassist Andrew Gosden had already started to create waves within the music scene as the post-rock trio Shrine. The addition of fellow Brighton, U.K.-based vocalist Will Gardner gave the band the additional edge that they had been seeking.
