Biography

A spiritual jazz ensemble led by keyboardist Bobby Hamilton, they were best known for their cult 1972 LP, Dream Queen. Hailing from Utica, New York, the Bobby Hamilton Quintet Unlimited was formed by bandleader Hamilton, who played Fender Rhodes as well as some percussion and vocals. Working with a cadre of local musicians, he recorded 1972's Dream Queen, released on the Alafia Enterprises label.
