Biography
One of many mysterious acts unearthed by enigmatic U.K. label Opal Tapes, Body Boys debuted in 2013 with Growth Window, a cassette of eerie whispering voices cloaked in a hazy dark ambient fog. After appearing on Opal Tapes' digital compilations No Lotion and Cambiare, as well as performing at the label's showcase at the Burlington in Chicago in December of 2014, Body Boys' second album, No Face, arrived in 2015. While the album included some of the shadowy ambience of the debut, it also contained plenty of throbbing, rough-cut techno beats. ~ Paul Simpson
