Biography
The duo of former Sonic Youth bassist/vocalist Kim Gordon and respected guitarist Bill Nace, Body/Head uncovers new possibilities within experimental music. The pair's largely improvised, free-flowing guitar drones and feedback expanded on Gordon's no wave roots and brought her prowess as an intuitive, emotive guitarist to the fore on releases including 2013's cathartic Coming Apart and 2018's gentler but still intense The Switch. The project's horizons further expanded with the inclusion of Aaron Dilloway's electronic manipulations on 2021's Body/Dilloway/Head.
