Borusiade

Romanian electronic musician and DJ Borusiade produces darkly melodic techno and electro informed by EBM and post-punk. On releases such as 2020's Fortunate Isolation, her sparse, hypnotic rhythms and haunting textures are joined by lyrics about mortality, spirituality, and transformation. Miruna Boruzescu was born in Bucharest and was trained as a classical musician. Entranced by the experimentation of electronic music, she started to DJ in 2002, then joined the new wave band Hector in 2005, and began to produce as a solo artist and as part of the duo Stereonucleose in 2008....
