Micko Westmorland was one of the only artists associated with the English "drill'n'bass" scene to rise above the level of fleeting phase. Combining elements of electro, jungle, and downtempo/trip-hop in odd, fidgety, often humorous juxtapositions, Westmorland contributed a track to erstwhile techno/electronica label Rising High's Further Self-Evident Truths compilation series before that label folded in 1996, at which point he signed with eclectic label Blue Planet.
