Before Patrick Doyle started writing and playing his own music in Boys Forever, he amassed a very impressive CV. In the mid-2000s he helped form Glaswegian indie pop group the Royal We, playing guitar. After one stellar mini-album released in 2007 for the Geographic label, the group splintered.
