Brad Goode

Multi-instrumentalist (trumpet, bass, drums) Brad Goode was born in 1963 in Chicago. He began learning violin at the age of four, switching to guitar and cornet seven years later, and by the time he graduated from high school he was already playing professional gigs as a bassist and trumpet player. Goode studied with trumpeter Vince DiMartino at the University of Kentucky, earning his undergraduate degree from there in 1985, and then studied double bass with Larry Gray at DePaul University, leaving with a master's degree in 1987.
