Pittsburgh-based singer/songwriter Brad Yoder derived considerable influence from folk veterans Bruce Cockburn and Dar Williams in developing his earnest pop/rock style, though his sound is far closer to contemporaries like Matthew Sweet, Elliott Smith, and Jason Falkner in their tunefulness.
