The melodic post-hardcore quartet Burns Out Bright came together in Columbia, SC. Comprised of Isaac Stone (vocals/bass), Bryan Taylor (guitar/vocals), Chris Shirah (drums), and Forest Montgomery (guitar/vocals), the group spent time touring with acts like Stretch Arm Strong, Evergreen Terrace, and Bear vs. Shark before signing with respected indie Deep Elm in October 2003.
