Candy Band

Comprised of stay-at-home mothers who had heard enough of standard children's music, Candy Band -- vocalist Daniela Burckhardt, guitarist Paula Messner (ex-Motor Dolls and the Vertical Pillows), bassist Anita Kelly, and drummer Tammy Ristau -- play pop-punk-style versions of classic children's songs. Playing at schools and libraries in addition to the conventional bar, Candy Band have appeared on The Today Show and on CBS' Morning Show.
