Cat Janice (Catherine Janice Ipsan) was a classically trained American alt-pop singer, songwriter, and producer with an ethereal voice and a punchy, groove-laden sound. The Virginia native's assured blend of alt-rock, disco-pop, and EDM was just gaining momentum when Janice was diagnosed with a rare, aggressive type of cancerous tumor in 2022.
