Singer/songwriter Catie Turner was already a talent-show circuit pro when she landed a spot on the 16th season of American Idol. Finishing in seventh place, she found mainstream success in 2019 with the release of her debut EP, The Sad Vegan, and the singles "Prom Queen" and "I Luv Him." In 2021, after suffering through a breakup, she turned lemons into lemonade with the ebullient six-song EP Heartbroken and Milking It. Turner's third EP, Comedy & Tragedy: Act 1, appeared in 2023.
