With one foot in the jangling, psychedelic world of the '60s and one in the jangling, psychedelic world of '90s dream pop, London's Charles Howl add in some surf, post-punk, indie pop, and '70s German rock influences to round their sound out nicely. Comprising guitarist/vocalist Danny Nellis (aka Charles Howl) and guitarist Bobby Syme (aka Danny Voltaire), the band formed when Nellis set aside his Jerry Tropicano project and released a single, "Surf Trem"/"Thinking of Home," for Lo Recordings in 2013.
