Charlie Megira

Israeli guitarist/songwriter Charlie Megira made otherworldly, dream-state music that called on the deep reverb guitars of surf rock, bits of Cramps-esque psychobilly drama, gothic post-punk moods, and mostly a strange and beautiful character all his own. Megira worked prolifically in relative obscurity for the entirety of his brief life, releasing multiple albums on CD-R before his death in 2016.
