Featuring former Broadcast members James Cargill and Roj Stevens along with the Focus Group's Julian House, Children of Alice expanded on the dreamy experimental electronics of their other projects. The group's name was a tribute to late Broadcast singer Trish Keenan, a lifelong Alice in Wonderland fan who counted Jonathan Miller's 1966 television adaptation of the book among her major influences.
