Christian Grøvlen

Pianist Christian Grøvlen was a prodigy who has built on a series of youth prizes and achieved a successful adult career. He is also a noted composer. Grøvlen was born in Bergen, Norway, on March 14, 1990. He took up the piano at a local music school at age five, and at 13, he moved to the youth talent development program at the University of Bergen's Grieg Academy, remaining there until 2009.
