Christoph Poppen

Christoph Poppen is highly regarded as a violinist and conductor championing contemporary music, often recording for the influential ECM and Hänssler Classic labels. He has also recorded mainstream repertory. Poppen is also an important educator. In the early 2020s, Poppen and the Cologne Chamber Orchestra began recording a complete cycle of Mozart masses.
