Formed in 2012 by Dom Clare and Leon Carey, who had worked together in various configurations since 2000, Leeds duo Chrononautz create rough, improvised techno primed for all-night raving in a dark, dirty warehouse. The duo spend several hours per week jamming in their studio, hammering out distorted beats and tense atmospheres, resulting in rapidly evolving stretches of music which always center around the dancefloor, even as they explore its outer limits.
