Chukki Starr

b. Anthony Williams, 1975, Harlesden, London, England. Chukki began his career when he formed his own Echo Tone Hi Fi sound system, performing as Chukki Brown. The DJ's debut, ‘Goodas Gal', was produced by Stonehead of the UK-based Volcano sound and signalled Chukki's emergence from the UK dancehall scene. His distinctive style led to recording sessions, primarily with Everton Samuels of the Ruff Cut Band.
