Clara La San's ruminative ballads and slow jams mix contemporary R&B and bedroom pop. A perfectionist, the Manchester, England-based singer/songwriter and producer pulled her Jam City-assisted Good Mourning mixtape within a couple years of its 2017 release. By the time she released her concise 2024 debut album, Made Mistakes, she had been intermittently active for a decade, and had collaborated with the select likes of Mssingno, Yves Tumor, Bicep, Gorgon City, and Bryson Tiller. ~ Andy Kellman
