A product of the same late-2010s Isle of Wight indie rock scene as Wet Leg, Lauran Hibberd, and Plastic Mermaids, this wry, energetic, Jess Eastwood-fronted quartet deliver relationship dissections and playfully frank put-downs within infectious melodies. Inspired by acts such as Snail Mail and Mac DeMarco, bassist Eastwood began making music with guitarist Steph Norris in 2017 under the moniker Jeph, a conflation of their forenames.
