Coca Leaf

Coca Leaf blend elements of dub, no wave, and funk into their hot, hazy improvisations. The group includes members of Merchandise (David Vassalotti and Carson Cox), the Ukiah Drag (ZZ Ramirez), and Hubble (Ben Greenberg). Originating from Merchandise's home state of Florida, the band recorded their debut album in New York City during the summer of 2015. Originally scheduled for release in August of 2016, Deep Marble Sunrise was issued by Wharf Cat Records in July of 2017. ~ Paul Simpson
