The nephew of R&B singer Willie Hutch, Gregory Fernan Hutchinson is better known as rapper Cold 187um, leader of the early-'90s hip-hop crew Above the Law who later found a second career in 2012 when signed with the Insane Clown Posse's Psychopathic label. With Above the Law, the rapper found himself at the heart of the post-N.W.A explosion of California gangsta rap, beginning with their 1990 debut Livin' Like Hustlers and remaining successful throughout the decade.
