b. Marc Nguyen Tan, Paris, France. Colder is the recording pseudonym of Nguyen Tan, who started his career as an art director for television in Paris boasting clients Commes Des Garcons and Kenzo among a rich list of top companies. Not content with being a graphic designer and video producer, Nguyen Tan decided in his spare time to create Colder. The result of this was the release of the 7-inch single ‘Shiny Star' in April 2003.
