Coultrain

Left-of-center R&B songwriter, singer, and multi-instrumentalist Coultrain (born Aaron Michael Frison) is from St. Louis, Missouri. He appeared on releases from the likes of the One (via a Waajeed remix) and Nato Caliph prior to releasing his conceptual and cerebral first album, The Adventures of Seymour Liberty, in January 2008. Additional featured roles on material from Gotta Be Karim, I, Ced, PPP, and J-1 aka the Deer, along with full-length projects such as Mugpush and Hawthorne Headhunters, preceded his second album.
