Philadelphia's CRUISR make dancey, melodic indie pop with a frenetic '80s new wave vibe. Formed in 2012, CRUISR initially began as the solo project of singer/songwriter Andy States. Working on home recordings, States began corresponding with Youth Lagoon's Jeremy Park, asking for recording advice and sharing demos. This led to a collaboration between States and Park, resulting in a self-titled EP.
