Mysterious duo C V L T S materialized in the form of underground cassettes and a persistent yet obscured internet presence around 2010. Hailing from a small Kansas town, this duo arrived with a hazy, instrumental, often beatless sound at the end of the chillwave movement, drawing out synth improvisations and occasional dream pop tracks with reverb-heavy vocals buried in the mix.
